It’s interesting to see how people on the internet get so excited about modding the Casio Royale. There are a lot of good mods and a lot of bad ones. Frequently you will see people commenting on mode complaining that people are ruining the watch by covering up the analog time display, since that is part of the core functionality of the watch. I find these to be quite funny since the time is displayed digitally, and let’s face it, the analog display is not the easiest to read. So for this mod I wanted to try something completely different, and fully block the top displays.
First I tried to add red, white and blue stripes as a nod to the United States flag colors, but then found out this is the flag of the netherlands, so that wasn’t going to work. USA or Netherlands?
Then I got the idea to just write the word Casio and have two thin blue lines. This mimics the stands that so many cheap casio watches come packaged in. Nod to the watch stand
