Continuing with my obsession with modifying cheap Casio digital watches, I found this one at Walmart. What a steal! Casio loves printing words on their watches
After getting it home I realized that most of the lettering on the case was embossed, so I would not be able to erase it with my trusty white eraser. I did get the words on the top and bottom to come off, but they left behind a shadow of the lettering. Slightly less words on the case
When I opened it I realized the faceplate doesn’t come off like it does on the Casio Royale, so I was not going to be able to remove that lettering either…dissapointing!
In the end I tried a couple of different colored gels, but none looked that great. Here are a couple of attempts The blue gel really cut down on the legibility I also tried orange and blue one over the moon. Neither really worked for me. This is the orange one
